A postdoctoral position is available in our group for a highly determined
and motivated researcher with a prominent interest in computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The successful candidate will join the Technion Biofluids Laboratory to carry out numerical simulations in the broad areas of pulmonary transport and inhalation aerosols. The candidate will have the opportunity to apply
CFD to a wide range of respiratory flow problems and aerosol transport, focusing on targeted drug delivery. In parallel, the candidate will also
have the opportunity to collaborate with several experimental in vitro activities carried in our group.
Background
We are seeking candidates with a background in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, transport phenomena, physics or similar, with experience in CFD/numerical simulations (including turbulent modeling): Fluent, OpenFOAM and Discrete Element Method (DEM), Python, C++, Fortran, Matlab programming skills.
