Human primary airway epithelial cells in vitro: collection, expansion and differentiation at the air-liquid interface

    Abstract
The aim of this workshop is to provide an overview of establishing primary human airway epithelial in vitro cell cultures at the air-liquid interface. Recommendations for ideal tools, consumables and reagents are provided in order to optimise collection of cells, growth and differentiation in culture. In addition, optimal approaches are discussed to assess and analyse function and differentiation level of air-liquid cultures.
