Consider the Aerosol School October 9-11, 2019

Aerosol School is an intensive three-day curriculum designed to provide the didactic background and practical laboratory hands-on experience to quantify and characterize medical aerosols. Upon completion of the program, participants should understand the measurements and techniques utilized in commercial pharmaceutical and biotech laboratories as well as academic research. The curriculum is a perfect primer for anyone interested in measurements of medical aerosols, whether for industry or clinical research. The target audience is scientists, technicians and students wishing to learn the range of measurements and techniques utilized in the modern aerosol laboratory. Learn more at www.aerosolschool.com.

Aerosol School Visits China

On November 2018, a team of ISAM members and local experts presented a one day workshop on Medical Aerosols in Acute and Critical Care at Sir Run Run Hospital in Hanghzou, China as a prelude to their 2018 International Respiratory Care Forum.Inspired by Myrna Dolovich’s successful and popular program of the past 10 years, a group of her graduates were invited to see if such a program would be of interest to the respiratory care community. Our thanks to Huiqing Ge who organized the meeting with Hui-Ling Lin, and the other faculty including Arzu Ari, Peter Xu, Kailang Duan, Jimei Wang , Jim Fink and others. The program was well attended with over 40 participants, and feedback was quite positive.Just an example of how ISAM members participate generating interest in aerosol medicine around the globe.
